I’m so excited to be returning to my hometown of Washington, DC to perform on one of the world’s most prestigious stages! I’ll be featured with the NSO Pops alongside Capathia Jenkins, Montego Glover as we pay tribute to the iconic women of jazz in a show called “Sophisticated Ladies: 100 Years Of Ella & Company”! If this show sounds familiar to you, it’s because we debuted it at NYC’s Carnegie Hall in 2015. Well, because of its overwhelming critical acclaim, we are signed on to perform in FOUR more cities this year (details coming soon)! After ringing in 2017 with non-stop performances at NYC’s Blue Note (28 nights in a row), the Chris Botti tour continued its run with a week of shows in San Francisco and then a week in Hawaii! Well now we are headed to Tokyo for a week-long stint at the Blue Note and after that, we are back in the states playing ALL AROUND THE COUNTRY! Speaking of Hawaii, since we were there for a week, I was able to venture off the beaten path a bit with my band mate Caroline Campbell.
