Back by popular demand, we’re remounting one of our most popular, talked-about performances of our 2022 season. If you missed it the first time, now is your chance to celebrate the legacy of jazz that began on Central Avenue, the west coast’s answer to the Harlem Renaissance.
Reprising their original roles are the inimitable Sy Smith, LaVance Colley, and The DC6 Singers Collective (vocals) and our stellar band: Ian Martin (bass), Stacey Lamont Sydnor (drums), Tony Pulizzi (guitar), and the legendary Myron McKinley, music director and keyboardist of Earth, Wind and Fire.
